Lifestyle Day: Faraway Foods for the Modern Menu£6

Take a culinary journey around the world without leaving the beautiful setting of Danesfield House, as two rising stars share the past, present and future of their respective cuisines.
Both at his eponymous London restaurant and in A. Wong – The Cookbook: Extraordinary dim sum, exceptional street food & unexpected Chinese dishes from Sichuan to Yunnan, Andrew Wong works to broaden our limited perception of Chinese food – a vast country with far more variety than it’s typically given credit for. Lopè Ariyo’s Hibiscus, published just this month, is one of the most-anticipated food books of 2017. As The Guardian put beautifully: “For all its richness and mind-boggling variety, African food has yet to cross over in the UK. With her freewheeling, boldly flavourful take on Nigerian cuisine, Lopè could be the person to make it happen.”
