One month to go for Short Story Competition

Aspiring writers of all ages have a chance to win prizes including book tokens and up to £2,500 with Dragonfly Tea’s Story in a Teacup competition – with the winners to be revealed at a special ceremony at Henley Town Hall as part of this autumn’s Henley Literary Festival.

Entries have been coming in from around the country ahead of the August 31st deadline. The main adult competition offers a prize of £2,500, plus runner-up prizes of £750 and £250. Stories can be on any theme or subject, with a word limit of 3,000, but the author must choose a title from one of the following Dragonfly tea names: Emerald Mountain, Swirling Mist,Moonlight Jasmine or Green Gaucho and enter on the Dragonfly website.

Children can enter a story with the title Skinny Dragon of up to 500 words in categories of 5-10 and 11-15, either online or in-store at Henley’s Tesco. The winner will receive £50 of book vouchers for themselves and £200 for their school.
