We are thrilled to host an exciting and varied line up for the 2018 Henley Children’s Literary Festival schools programme. Running concurrently with the main festival, our fantastic schools programme offers exclusive student-price tickets for pre-schoolers to school leavers.
School Events for Pre-School Children (aged 2+)
With bestselling children’s authors Kes Gray, Rachel Bright and Sophy Henn holding fun and interactive events for children aged 2+, there is no better time to introduce pre-school children to the magical world of reading!
School Events for Primary School Children (aged 4-11)
This year’s primary school line-up includes Horrid Henry author Francesca Simon, Anthony Horowitz and A.F Harrold with the second book in his Great Zargo series! We are also joined by the brilliant Piers Torday, the wonderful Anna James and author-illustrator Tom Percival with his beautiful new book: Ruby’s Worry.
School Events for Senior School Children (aged 10-18)
Exclusively for senior schools, we are proud to present ‘The Power of Writing’ panel hosted by Former Society of Authors chair, Daniel Hahn. This rare opportunity to join Sally Nicholls, author of Things a Bright Girl Can Do, bestselling US novelist Jewell Parker Rhodes and The Good Immigrant founder, Nikesh Shukla, is not to be missed!
